This menu option allows you to change your password to whatever you want, or to a randomly generated password. Passwords should be at least 6 characters long.
Alarm

The alarm option allows you to choose from 4 alarms. Each alarm can be turned on or off, and can be set for a specific time. In order for an alarm to fire, the alarm time must be chosen, and the alarm must be turned on. When you are selecting the alarm time, it is in number of hours before Second Life midnight. So, if you select 1, the alarm will fire every night at 11:00pm sl time. If you select 12, it will fire at noon, and if you select 23, the alarm will fire at 1am. Second Life time is PST (GMT+8) or PDT (GMT+7) depending on daylight savings time.
When the alarm fires, it will send you an Instant Message. If you have your instant messages set to forward to your email, then you will get the alarm text in your email. To forward your IMs to email, go to Edit > Preferences > Communication > Send IM to email.

When you choose the Attack menu button, your Rampage Claw will search for nearby avatars to drain. Thier names will appear in the menu, and you may select the one you wish to attack. Once you have done this, you will then be given a menu to choose how many Lumens you'd like to drain from your victim. If the victim still has human blood in them, the amounts will show in %. If the victim has only vital (or vampire) blood in them, then the amounts will show in Liters.
Once you've selected the amount of Lumens you'd like to convert, your victim will then receive a blue menu asking them if they'd like to allow you to drain them. They also are given a choice as to how much to give - so you may not get quite as much as you ask for! This is to keep in mind that a victim does have the ability to withdraw from a draining, particularly if they are a vampire and have limited vital blood to give.

All the Bloodlines attachments may be either be used in "Free" or "Bloodlines" mode. If in free mode, the Rampage Claw will simply animate the attack on your victim. In Bloodlines mode, it will interact with the game and website, and give you options for Lumen amounts to drain etc.

To use the Soul Reaper, just right-click it in your inventory and select 'wear'. By default, it will attach to your Left Forearm. You can initiate commands in one of two ways: if you touch the Soul Reaper, you'll get a menu of options. Or, you can chat commands on channel 7 to control the Reaper. The commands are:
/7 Reap :: initiate soul reap
/7 Mode :: bring up mode menu
/7 Bloodlines :: set to bloodlines mode
/7 Free :: set to free mode
/7 Extension :: extend/retract spikes
1: Reaping souls
When you initiate a soul reap, you'll get a menu of the first 25 avatars within 20 meters. The range is not longer than this, because you'll need to be relatively close to the other avatar to use the Soul Reaper.
When you select an avatar that possesses souls, you'll get a menu asking you if you would like to take a specific soul or any soul. If you select any soul, the first soul they collected that isn't yours will be selected. You can't take back your own soul. If the only soul the targeted avatar owns is yours, the soul reap will be denied. If you select a specific soul, then you will have to chat the name of the soul you want to take.
*** You cannot Reap/own your own soul, under any circumstances in the game. You can get your soul returned to you via Potions, but it will never appear as an 'owned' soul on your profile. Hence the Soul Reaper cannot retrieve your own soul to you. ***
Once a soul is selected, the soul reaper will ask the other avatar for permission to transfer the soul. If they accept, the soul transfer will take place.
2: Mode
The Soul Reaper has two modes, just like the Spike and the Fangs: Free and Bloodlines. When in free mode, the soul reaper animations and particle effect can be used for RP purposes, but no Bloodlines stats will change, and no soul transfer will take place in the Bloodlines game. If you're not a registered member of Bloodlines, you can still use the Soul Reaper animations and particle effects in Free Mode. When in Bloodlines mode, souls will be transferred.
3: Extension
The extension option just extends and retracts the glowing ghost teeth on the sides of the Soul Reaper.

First, set up your Insignia Server. When you rez it, it will register with the Bloodlines system and display the default Bloodlines Insignia.
To load the server, right-click on it and select 'edit'. This will bring up your build window. Select the tab titled 'contents'. If you have a clan insignia, you can drag it from your inventory and drop it into the contents window. Your server will automatically update with the new Insignia. If you have a notecard that you would like to be distributed from the badges that you hand out, you can drag that from your inventory as well. Your notecard should contain information about your clan, and you can even include landmarks to your clan's land if you want. When people first wear their badge, they'll be vended the notecard about your clan.
The Insignia server contains the following options:
* Power On or Off: when the server is off, the notecard will not be vended when your badges are worn or clicked on.
* Text On or Off: turns the hover text indicating power status on or off.
* Update: forces the server to update its inventory
* Test: test to make sure your server is connected to the system. If it comes back with 'Test Successful', then your server is working properly, if it says 'Test failed.', please pick up and re-rez your server.
Please note the following:
1. You can only have one active server at a time. If you rez more than one server, one of them will be auto-delete (it will ask you first if you want to replace the old server with the new server). This is so there is no confusion about which texture to load or which notecard to vend.
2. If you place more than one notecard or texture into your server, it will load the first texture or the first notecard it finds. Nothing will happen with the other textures or notecards.
Once you've set up your server, you can 'burn' your Insignia badge. Burning the Insignia badge links that copy of the badge to your clan and makes it transferable to other people. You can't transfer a copy of the badge until you burn it. The texture that it displays will still update if you update the insignia in your server, but it will not be able to be linked to another clan's server. Before you burn your badge, please make a backup copy of it, because once you burn it, the no-transfer registration script will delete itself and that copy won't be able to be burned again. To burn your badge, rez it on the ground click it, and select 'burn'. It will update to your loaded insignia, and the name of the badge will change to your clan's name.
MAKING YOUR INSIGNIA
We think insignias look best when they have a transparent background, but this is not required. Creating your texture will depend on what image editing software you're using, but here is how you can make an insignia with a transparent background in Photoshop.
* Make a new document with square dimensions, we recommend 256x256 pixels for a fast rez of your insignia when people view it, but you could also make it 512x512 pixels if you want it to be higher resolution.
* Make a new layer, and paint your insignia on that layer.
* Select the live area of your insignia by control-clicking on your layer in your layers palette.
* Go to the channels palette and create a new channel. A new alpha channel will be created.
* Change your foreground color to white, and fill your selection with white on your alpha channel using the fill bucket or by pressing alt+backspace.
* Go back to your layers palette and fill in the background with black.
* Save your document as a layered .psd file in case you want to edit it later, then save it as a 32-bit .tga (targa) file.
* Upload your targa file to Second Life by going to File > Upload > Image.
* You're done! Now just load your new insignia into your server!

In the Rage: Bloodlines game, your body can only hold about 50 Lumens of moonlight at a time. You can use your Lumen Prism to store reserve lumens, or to empty your lumens into so you can hunt more when you're full. It's also a convenient way to transfer large volumes of lumens to others. If you have an empty prism, you can fill it up and then gift it, trade it, or sell it. You can also keep the container rezzed on your land, and set users that are allowed to drink from or fill it.
The amount of lumens contained in your container is tracked by the Bloodlines server, and all of the lumens you own in containers and within your veins adds up to your Lumen Wealth. You may not be the highest-ranked vampire, but by collecting lumens, you can be the wealthiest.

The main menu of the Lumen Prism has 5 options:
1 - Check : Get the current status of your container, including how much is in it and what the current security settings are.
2 - Security : Open the security menu, explained below.
3 - Drink : Drink some lumens out of the container. If the container has lumens in it, you will be given options for how much to drink.
4 - Fill : Fill the container with some lumens from your body. If you have lumens, you will be given options for how much to fill. Be careful, if you drain it all you will be destroyed!
5 - Select : This is for use with the Gem refill and the Siphon, to select which container to refill or transfer with, it has no function when used on it's own.
.:[ The Security Menu ]:.
The security menu has 5 sets of options, explained below
****1 - access mode: this allows you to set the access mode to either open, restricted, or locked. If it is open, anyone can use it regardless of other settings, if it is locked, only the owner can use it regardless of other settings, and if it is set to restricted, then it is subject to the group or user list settings. As the owner, you will always be able to use the container regardless of any security settings.
****2 - transfer mode : For others that are allowed to access the tank, this sets whether they are allowed to both drink and fill, or only fill.
****3 - group mode : This allows you to set group mode on or off. If the tank is in restricted access mode, users that have the same group as the container activated will be able to use it. You can set the group of the tank using the edit window. Just set the group that the tank is in. ***DON'T DEED THE TANK TO A GROUP, IT WILL NO LONGER WORK.
****4 - user list: This gives you options to add a user to a manually managed user list, remove a user, or clear the user list. If the tank is in restricted access mode, users on this list will be able to use the tank. The user list holds 25 names. If you need more than that, you can set up the container for group access, or use open access.
****5 - view record: this will give you a list of the last 25 drink or fill transactions with your container, printed to local chat.

After you buy a container from the rez-vendor, make sure you right-click and 'take' it. If you don't, the container will be returned to your lost and found folder by our parcel auto-return after 2 minutes.
NEVER open, unpack, or remove the contents of your prism, it will no longer work. If you do this by accident, send us a notecard and we'll get you a replacement.
We recommend only operating one prism at a time. Sometimes if scripts hang temporarily or fail to fully execute due to lag, listens can be left open, and you can accidentally fill two prisms at once, draining you. Normally, you will be given a warning when your lumens are critically low and will result in your destruction if you drain yourself into the container. If you accidentally get destroyed without warning when using multiple prisms, send a notecard to Lyle Maeterlinck explaining your situation, and we can help you get it sorted out.
If you're ever unsure how many lumens your container has in it, or you think the meter might be wrong, try picking it up into your inventory, and re-rezzing it on the ground. This should reset the meter to the amount stored in the database.

Once you have done this, you will then be given a menu to choose how many Lumens you'd like to drain from your victim. If the victim still has human blood in them, the amounts will show in %. If the victim has only vital (or vampire) blood in them, then the amounts will show in Liters.
Once you've selected the amount of Lumens you'd like to convert, your victim will then receive a blue menu asking them if they'd like to allow you to drain them. They also are given a choice as to how much to give - so you may not get quite as much as you ask for! This is to keep in mind that a victim does have the ability to withdraw from a draining, particularly if they are a vampire and have limited vital blood to give.

All the Bloodlines attachments may be either be used in "Free" or "Bloodlines" mode. If in free mode, the Rampage Claw will simply animate the attack on your victim. In Bloodlines mode, it will interact with the game and website, and give you options for Lumen amounts to drain etc.

5. Transfer : transfer Lumens. To transfer Lumens follow this sequence:
1--Select Transfer on main menu
2--DO NOT SELECT NEXT (transfer will fail)
3--touch the prism you want to transfer lumens from (must be within 10 meters)
4--select 'Select' on prism menu

To use the Soul Reaper, just right-click it in your inventory and select 'wear'. By default, it will attach to your Left Forearm. You can initiate commands in one of two ways: if you touch the Soul Reaper, you'll get a menu of options. Or, you can chat commands on channel 7 to control the Reaper. The commands are:
/7 Reap :: initiate soul reap
/7 Mode :: bring up mode menu
/7 Bloodlines :: set to bloodlines mode
/7 Free :: set to free mode
/7 Extension :: extend/retract spikes
1: Reaping souls
When you initiate a soul reap, you'll get a menu of the first 25 avatars within 20 meters. The range is not longer than this, because you'll need to be relatively close to the other avatar to use the Soul Reaper.
When you select an avatar that possesses souls, you'll get a menu asking you if you would like to take a specific soul or any soul. If you select any soul, the first soul they collected that isn't yours will be selected. You can't take back your own soul. If the only soul the targeted avatar owns is yours, the soul reap will be denied. If you select a specific soul, then you will have to chat the name of the soul you want to take.
*** You cannot Reap/own your own soul, under any circumstances in the game. You can get your soul returned to you via Potions, but it will never appear as an 'owned' soul on your profile. Hence the Soul Reaper cannot retrieve your own soul to you. ***
Once a soul is selected, the soul reaper will ask the other avatar for permission to transfer the soul. If they accept, the soul transfer will take place.
2: Mode
The Soul Reaper has two modes, just like the Spike and the Fangs: Free and Bloodlines. When in free mode, the soul reaper animations and particle effect can be used for RP purposes, but no Bloodlines stats will change, and no soul transfer will take place in the Bloodlines game. If you're not a registered member of Bloodlines, you can still use the Soul Reaper animations and particle effects in Free Mode. When in Bloodlines mode, souls will be transferred.
3: Extension
The extension option just extends and retracts the glowing ghost teeth on the sides of the Soul Reaper.

The Insignia is a recruitment system for Clans / Packs / Hordes and Guilds (groups). Any leader of a group can load the Insignia server with a texture of their chosen group insignia, and a notecard about their group. They can then burn their insignia into the badge, and hand it out to help recruit people for their clan. Anyone who wears their badge will be vended the notecard in the Insignia server!

First, set up your Insignia Server. When you rez it, it will register with the Bloodlines system and display the default Bloodlines Insignia.
To load the server, right-click on it and select 'edit'. This will bring up your build window. Select the tab titled 'contents'. If you have a clan insignia, you can drag it from your inventory and drop it into the contents window. Your server will automatically update with the new Insignia. If you have a notecard that you would like to be distributed from the badges that you hand out, you can drag that from your inventory as well. Your notecard should contain information about your clan, and you can even include landmarks to your clan's land if you want. When people first wear their badge, they'll be vended the notecard about your clan.
The Insignia server contains the following options:
* Power On or Off: when the server is off, the notecard will not be vended when your badges are worn or clicked on.
* Text On or Off: turns the hover text indicating power status on or off.
* Update: forces the server to update its inventory
* Test: test to make sure your server is connected to the system. If it comes back with 'Test Successful', then your server is working properly, if it says 'Test failed.', please pick up and re-rez your server.
Please note the following:
1. You can only have one active server at a time. If you rez more than one server, one of them will be auto-delete (it will ask you first if you want to replace the old server with the new server). This is so there is no confusion about which texture to load or which notecard to vend.
2. If you place more than one notecard or texture into your server, it will load the first texture or the first notecard it finds. Nothing will happen with the other textures or notecards.
Once you've set up your server, you can 'burn' your Insignia badge. Burning the Insignia badge links that copy of the badge to your clan and makes it transferable to other people. You can't transfer a copy of the badge until you burn it. The texture that it displays will still update if you update the insignia in your server, but it will not be able to be linked to another clan's server. Before you burn your badge, please make a backup copy of it, because once you burn it, the no-transfer registration script will delete itself and that copy won't be able to be burned again. To burn your badge, rez it on the ground click it, and select 'burn'. It will update to your loaded insignia, and the name of the badge will change to your clan's name.
MAKING YOUR INSIGNIA
We think insignias look best when they have a transparent background, but this is not required. Creating your texture will depend on what image editing software you're using, but here is how you can make an insignia with a transparent background in Photoshop.
* Make a new document with square dimensions, we recommend 256x256 pixels for a fast rez of your insignia when people view it, but you could also make it 512x512 pixels if you want it to be higher resolution.
* Make a new layer, and paint your insignia on that layer.
* Select the live area of your insignia by control-clicking on your layer in your layers palette.
* Go to the channels palette and create a new channel. A new alpha channel will be created.
* Change your foreground color to white, and fill your selection with white on your alpha channel using the fill bucket or by pressing alt+backspace.
* Go back to your layers palette and fill in the background with black.
* Save your document as a layered .psd file in case you want to edit it later, then save it as a 32-bit .tga (targa) file.
* Upload your targa file to Second Life by going to File > Upload > Image.
* You're done! Now just load your new insignia into your server!

In the Rage: Bloodlines game, your body can only hold about 50 Lumens of moonlight at a time. You can use your Lumen Prism to store reserve lumens, or to empty your lumens into so you can hunt more when you're full. It's also a convenient way to transfer large volumes of lumens to others. If you have an empty prism, you can fill it up and then gift it, trade it, or sell it. You can also keep the container rezzed on your land, and set users that are allowed to drink from or fill it.
The amount of lumens contained in your container is tracked by the Bloodlines server, and all of the lumens you own in containers and within your veins adds up to your Lumen Wealth. You may not be the highest-ranked vampire, but by collecting lumens, you can be the wealthiest.

The main menu of the Lumen Prism has 5 options:
1 - Check : Get the current status of your container, including how much is in it and what the current security settings are.
2 - Security : Open the security menu, explained below.
3 - Drink : Drink some lumens out of the container. If the container has lumens in it, you will be given options for how much to drink.
4 - Fill : Fill the container with some lumens from your body. If you have lumens, you will be given options for how much to fill. Be careful, if you drain it all you will be destroyed!
5 - Select : This is for use with the Gem refill and the Siphon, to select which container to refill or transfer with, it has no function when used on it's own.
.:[ The Security Menu ]:.
The security menu has 5 sets of options, explained below
****1 - access mode: this allows you to set the access mode to either open, restricted, or locked. If it is open, anyone can use it regardless of other settings, if it is locked, only the owner can use it regardless of other settings, and if it is set to restricted, then it is subject to the group or user list settings. As the owner, you will always be able to use the container regardless of any security settings.
****2 - transfer mode : For others that are allowed to access the tank, this sets whether they are allowed to both drink and fill, or only fill.
****3 - group mode : This allows you to set group mode on or off. If the tank is in restricted access mode, users that have the same group as the container activated will be able to use it. You can set the group of the tank using the edit window. Just set the group that the tank is in. ***DON'T DEED THE TANK TO A GROUP, IT WILL NO LONGER WORK.
****4 - user list: This gives you options to add a user to a manually managed user list, remove a user, or clear the user list. If the tank is in restricted access mode, users on this list will be able to use the tank. The user list holds 25 names. If you need more than that, you can set up the container for group access, or use open access.
****5 - view record: this will give you a list of the last 25 drink or fill transactions with your container, printed to local chat.

After you buy a container from the rez-vendor, make sure you right-click and 'take' it. If you don't, the container will be returned to your lost and found folder by our parcel auto-return after 2 minutes.
NEVER open, unpack, or remove the contents of your prism, it will no longer work. If you do this by accident, send us a notecard and we'll get you a replacement.
We recommend only operating one prism at a time. Sometimes if scripts hang temporarily or fail to fully execute due to lag, listens can be left open, and you can accidentally fill two prisms at once, draining you. Normally, you will be given a warning when your lumens are critically low and will result in your destruction if you drain yourself into the container. If you accidentally get destroyed without warning when using multiple prisms, send a notecard to Lyle Maeterlinck explaining your situation, and we can help you get it sorted out.
If you're ever unsure how many lumens your container has in it, or you think the meter might be wrong, try picking it up into your inventory, and re-rezzing it on the ground. This should reset the meter to the amount stored in the database.

To use the Lumen Gem, just follow these steps:
1. Rez your Lumen Gem within 20 meters of the container you'd like to refill.
2. Touch (left-click) the Lumen Gem, this will bring up a menu with a 'Done' button, but don't push it yet.
3. Touch the barrel you want to refill, then push the 'Select' button.
4. Push the 'Done' button. If everything checks out, you'll get another menu with the options 'Transfer' and 'Cancel'.
5. Hit transfer, and the lumens will be transferred to your prism.
